Description

A two-story plywood addition on the west side of Los Angeles, designed by architect Tensho Takmori, transformed a once-sleepy bungalow into a dynamic space that embraces California’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Expansive glass doors and open layouts seamlessly connect the interior with lush outdoor areas, allowing natural light to flow through and making the most of the mild, sunny climate. This addition combines minimalist design with the warm texture of plywood, creating a bold, inviting aesthetic that honors the home’s original character.
